OF THE LORD Numbers 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. VISIONS
& DREAMS A few visions and dreams I received over a period of several years. Except for my salvation testimony, I have only shared the visions, dreams, and words I have received from the Lord with my husband and very few others. EARTHQUAKE VISION Fall 1998 A short time after becoming saved, I was in my bedroom, on my knees, in fervent prayer, when suddenly the strangest thing happened to me. While I was praying, all of a sudden, I was looking at a clear blue sky and then at a very nice middle class neighborhood. I remember thinking what a very peaceful scene it was, a gorgeous day. There were all these nice, neat houses with their nicely mowed and manicured lawns and landscaping. I noticed that there were no people around, nor did I see any animals or birds, either. As I was looking at this scene and wondering why I was seeing it, in an instant, without any warning of any kind, every house in my field of vision just disintegrated and disappeared beneath the earth. I jumped up off my knees in horror, sheer terror, like I have never known and called out to God saying, I don’t want to see this, why are you showing this to me? After a moment, I calmed down and then I was sorry that I had jumped up, rather than to wait and see what more the Lord might have to show me, so I got back down to pray and asked the Lord what this was all about, but I received nothing more that day. “THE NORDLAND KING” Not very much after I had the vision of the earthquake (fall 1998), I awoke in the morning. As I woke up, in that half awake, half asleep state, where you are still somewhat in a dream stage, I kept hearing this phrase repeated over and over again: “THE NORDLAND KING” but I am not sure what it means. Since the nearest term in the bible to this is “the king of the north” I looked up those scriptures that refer to the king of the north. I do not wish to attempt to interpret the meaning of this, because I do not have any specific interpretation from the Lord and I have learned not to attempt to interpret His messages, because I have been mistaken before in how I interpreted them. Here are the bible verses concerning the king of the north. You may draw your own conclusions or ask the Lord for the interpretation: Daniel 11:6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. Daniel 11:7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: Daniel 11:8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. Daniel 11:11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. Daniel 11:13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. Daniel 11:15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. Daniel 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. PERSECUTION Shortly after I received the above word referencing the Nordland King, I had a dream where I found myself in some type of office. I stood before a desk. There were uniformed guards on both sides of me. Before me, there was a man seated behind a desk. He was not in uniform. Since he was seated, I could only see his upper body. He was wearing a pale, creamy yellow sweater. He was a bald headed white man, with blue or grayish eyes, fair complected, and had a somewhat hawkish nose, but not extremely so. His build was heavy, but not fat. He gave the impression of being powerful, cold and evil. Although no words were spoken, I knew that he had just condemned me to death. Then I woke up. Also, under this heading, throughout my life, I have had the same dream many, many times. In that dream, I am always being persued by unseen enemies. I am running through streets, roads, alleys and tall buildings. Which is very strange, since I live in the country, but I do work in the city at times. In other dreams, I have had my teeths knocked out by someone with an iron or steel bar. I could feel the bar hitting my mouth. AN ANSWER FROM THE LORD TO A QUESTION One day in the spring of 1999 (I think it was), I was in prayer to the Lord and felt a particular closeness and intimacy (hard to explain, like I was physically with Him and conversing with Him). Something was bothering me a lot. I asked the Lord why He continues to allow the wicked to prosper and wax worse all the time. Why did He not destroy them and fulfill all things and hasten His coming. Here is the answer He gave me, which I think will perhaps be of interest and comfort to others who have the same question. This is not verbatim, but here is the general gist of the answer I got: Because that which is about to be birthed is not yet fully ready to be born. Basically, the earth is like a womb in which a baby is growing. When the time is ready for the baby to be born, it will come forth (with the accompanying birth pangs). Along with that baby that is growing in the womb, there is also that which is called the placenta or afterbirth. Once the baby is born, that afterbirth is discarded. Likewise, the true bride of Christ, the church is being grown inside the earth/womb and there is that which supports the bride of Christ/baby as it grows, but will be discarded in the end. When the baby is ready to be born, it will be born. I understand this to mean, that in order for the true church, the bride of Christ to be prepared and grown, there has to be womb, the earth, and there has to something that causes it to grow, the placenta/afterbirth, for without knowing the evil and without tribulation and persecution, the true believers cannot be distinguished from the lukewarm ones. The Lord will separate the sheep from the goats and the wheat from the chaff. DREAM OF “NUCLEAR WINTER?” Summer 2005 A few months ago, I was taking a nap one afternoon on a weekend when I had a very vivid dream. I was outside our house at the bottom of the driveway at the backdoor. It was a very eerie thing, because I somehow I knew it was daytime, but it was very dark and gloomy, like I was seeing everything through a brownish, yellow haze, unlike anything I have ever seen in real life, or even ever imagined. There was snow on the ground (not extremely deep, I’d guess less than a foot). I can’t say that I saw anything else, other than that for some reason, the headlights were on on our trucks but I didn’t get the feeling we were going anywhere, but I saw one of them kind of slowly sliding down the slope of the driveway in the snow. The whole thing seemed to be more about a sensation of something being terribly wrong, rather than about seeing something. I cannot begin to describe the eerie way in which I could see sunlight shining through that strange yellow/brownish all-obscuring haze. This is a dream the picture of which just stays in my mind all the time. I am assuming that one of two things could cause the yellow/brownish hazy conditions I saw. That would be either an actual nuclear explosion causing a “nuclear winter”, although I have not idea whether that would create that coloration in haze. The other possibility would be a major volcanic eruption, such as Yellowstone perhaps. This, I understand from researching the subject, would also cause the same effect as a “nuclear winter.” |
